SYNTAXIA is a dream-dark adventure game that allows you to rewrite reality itself by changing the words that describe it. Use your creativity and intuition to escape. Which path will you choose?

You awake inside a decaying complex, confused and alone. A nearby laptop flickers to life, revealing a fascinating ability - whatever is written in it becomes reality. With this unique tool, you must navigate the enigmatic Sensoria Komplex, using your creativity and intuition to uncover its secrets and find a way out.

Multiple paths await as you explore the sprawling Sensoria Komplex. Its abstract and unpredictable halls have many secrets, some charming, some dangerous. Its haunting soundscape creates a unique, immersive atmosphere. Your choices will affect this living world, and will decide whether you uncover its secrets or stay within its blood-soaked walls.

SYNTAXIA features an open-ended puzzle design, where problems have many solutions. Why settle for just one way? The only limit is your creativity. Want to get through a door? Find a heavy object and break it down—or maybe there's a window you can open instead. Explore, experiment, and discover your own path.

The Sensoria Komplex brims with hidden dangers, where shadows twist with malice and unseen threats lurk. Trust your intuition—follow it, and let the subtle pull of your instincts lead the way. Amidst this darkness, however, pockets of comfort can be found: a crackling fire, the soothing patter of rain on distant windows. Embrace these peaceful moments, wrap yourself in these moments of coziness, and guard your sanity like a fragile flame in the night.

The world is hand-crafted, charming, and detailed, inviting you to explore its nooks and crannies. You’ll find various objects scattered throughout, each with its own bit of dialogue to discover. As you wander through the hallways of the Komplex, you'll gradually pick up on its tune, and if you listen, the Sensoria will reveal its secrets to you.

Would love a much longer version of this with many more secrets and combinations. Very unique and such potential

Congratulations on the demo!

I loved the world-building of the game and have already put it on my Steam wishlist to find out more about it as soon as it is released!

Now I'm focused on trying to complete the demo as much as possible (great tactic to get players to revisit the demo more often), at least the hallway part is already complete...

I'll be sure to talk to my friends about the game!
I wish you a successful game launch next year!

For some reason after the darkness consumed me, the game prompted me to open the laptop and when I tried it booted me out. Watching the let's play I know that isn't what is supposed to happen, so I wanted to just let the developer know about it

Gave it a Lets Play! FIRST OFF, I had to show off the Game store page in my video, haha. Wish there was more to play in the game, good stuff, good work on the attention to detail and aesthetics.

Glad you liked it! I'll make sure to watch the whole video. It's always fun watching someone play this and see what they do. :]

Putting this page together (in a way that it would scale nicely) was a bit of a hellish endeavor, but if it was good enough for you to dedicate a section of the video to it then I'd say it paid off. <3

Congratulations on the demo release! It’s very impressive so far - both the gameplay mechanics and the world-building are outstanding. Can’t wait for the full game!

I really, really like this game! It sort of reminds me of a game called Yume Nikki which is also really good. I kinda feel bad though because I accidentally killed whatever was in that closet, but otherwise I really enjoyed playing this!!                                                                                                                                                   I'm going to go recommend this to my friends now! :)

The comparison to Yume Nikki is such a high praise! I love that game so much. TT

And dont worry about the closet, you can always replay it and see what happens if you choose the other option! ^^

I'm glad you liked it :]

This game is very good. A creative and inventive way of world manipulation, small twitch of nostalgia (those sounds of laptop is suberb!), and somnium feel of Backrooms feel and/or liminal spaces with some pang of SCP-alike experiment and of course - fluffy protagonist. I will be waiting for full release of this small marvel! <3

Hey! Thats great feedback, I'm happy it invoked all those feelings, its something I've strived for when designing the feeling of the world.

I'm glad you enjoyed our game. :]
